Our Activities :

Theatre Productions :

Till date in last 59 years we have produced 80 productions with more than 2000 shows of all of them collectively.

Theatre Workshops :

Every year the famous PDA Theatre Workshop is arranged in last two weeks of May and fisr week of June. 25 students selected carefully avail high quality theatre inputs to begin their journey in theatre. Most of these students are the absorbed in PDA or other theatre groups in Pune

Publications :

PDA has so far published several books and annuals. All these are based on topics related to theatre.

Amonst these ''Vedh - Sangeet Natak'' is one landmark compilation of writings on the Sangeet Natak or Traditional Musical Theatre of Maharashtra.

Special Productions for Marathi Mandals Outside Maharashtra :

We produce entertaining popular plays especially for various Marathi Mandals outside Maharashtra. In last few years we have a full packed tour schedule for Ganeshotsav. We ahev recently done shows in all places in Rajastan and at Delhi.

Festivals :

PDA organises several Theatre Festivals and Lecture Series pertaining to Theatre related topics.

We plan some unique theatre festivals in 2011 which is our diamond jubilee year !

Parvati Project :

Under this project, every year, we produce a fresh play based on an event or personality from Peshva Regime. This historical is produced in collaboration with Parvati Devadeveshwar Sansthan Trust.

PDA must be the ONLY theatre organisation in the world to continue such an effort for 30 years without a break.
