PDA is an amateur, NOT FOR PROFIT theatre group.

Beginning in 1951, PDA has done pioneering work in Marathi Experimental Theatre.

PDA is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1960. ( Registration Number: E 174 / Pune 1.7.1955)

All donations to PDA are exempted from Income Tax vide the provisions under section 80G of Income Tax Act.
